A chef who trained at trendy London seafood eaterie Bibendum is to open a new deli-restaurant in Cirencester, it has been reported.
Bob Parkinson, who was trained by renowned chef Simon Hopkinson at the Sir Terence Conran owned restaurant, told the Gloucestershire Echo that he plans to unveil his new concept, Made by Bob, when the Corn Hall reopens this summer.
After 17 years of working as a chef, he admitted: "It's long been an ambition of mine to open a thriving, high-quality restaurant and deli and I'm excited about fulfilling that ambition in Cirencester.
"My vision for Made by Bob is to provide a relaxed meeting place where people can enjoy fantastic food and refreshment throughout the day."
The Corn Hall has undergone extensive refurbishment since it was purchased last year by investment firm Wildmoor Properties, which is also carrying out renovations on the adjacent King's Head Hotel.
When it reopens this summer, the 40-room hotel is set to provide local jobs in a range of new bars and a restaurant.
