Technology park boosts catering jobs in Ireland

The development of a technology park in Ireland will help to create hundreds of catering jobs, according to one newspaper, which said it could provide more than 3,000 roles overall.

According to the Argus, the Science and Technology Park in Louth will attract foriegn investment and secure jobs for engineers and caterers when it is up and running.

The publication reported that Mr Padraic White, who is the chairman of the Louth Economic Forum, believes the £15 million development will create lots of jobs.

"While the aim was to secure 3,000 such jobs for the county, he said in reality many more jobs would be created through outsourcing and contracts in areas such as catering, transport and security," it stated.

The SPark in Emersons Green, Bristol, is another location where catering jobs will be created, according to the South West Regional Development Agency.
