A catering director has been shortlisted for the 'Oscars' of the female entrepreneur world, following her impressive performance as a business leader.

Louise Wymer, director of catering company The Catering Academy, has made it to the final of the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year Award, which will be announced on March 23rd.

"This year we have nominated four women who have embedded social and environmental responsibility within the heart of their business in addition to delivering a healthy balance sheet," said Sally Warmington, brand director of Veuve Clicquot.

Judges for the award include Martha Lane-Fox, as well as last year's winner Gail Rebuck, who is chief executive of Random House Publishing House.

People looking for catering jobs in Bristol have been bolstered by the news that the SPark in Emersons Green science park will bring new roles to the city and create engineering positions as well.
