Contract catering and facilities management company Aramark Ireland has launched a Christmas campaign supporting homeless charity Focus Ireland, which could be of interest to those seeking contract catering jobs.
The firm is selling shortbread cookies in more than 200 Aramark restaurants across Ireland over the next few weeks.
They will be available until December 17th and proceeds will be given to the Focus Ireland Sponsor a Star campaign, which aims to raise €250,000 (£211,673) this Christmas.
Joan O'Shaughnessy, chief executive of Aramark Ireland, said: "Christmas is such a wonderful time of year for most of us, but for people who are homeless or at risk of losing their home, Christmas can be an extremely difficult time."
She urged people to buy one of the company's cookies and said doing so was an easy way to support Focus Ireland in its "exceptional" work.
Back in September, Aramark Ireland opened a new Starbucks at the Dundalk Institute of Technology, creating many cafe jobs in the area.
