Sodexo creates catering jobs at New College Swindon

A number of contract catering jobs have been created by Sodexo as it has won a contract at New College Swindon.

The provider of on-site service solutions has signed a £2.5 million, five-year deal to supply catering and hospitality services at the Wiltshire college.

Sodexo will provide hot and cold meals and drinks to up to 7,000 students and staff members each year.

Debbie Owens, operations director for Sodexo Education, said: "This is a great win for Sodexo and we are delighted that New Swindon College has chosen us to provide all its catering and hospitality services."

She went on to say that the company has developed new dishes to ensure that the needs of students and staff on site are met.

Earlier this month, Sodexo was given the Large Business Award by Women 1st at the 2011 Shine Awards.

This event was held at the Savoy Hotel in London and hosted by Gaby Roslin.
