A new Revolution Vodka Bar is to open later this month in Norwich, creating many bar jobs in the city.

The venue, owned by Inventive Leisure, will be more food-focused than many of the bar chain's other venues.

Customers can enjoy formal sit-down meals, relaxed sharing platters or just traditional burgers and pizzas.

There are currently 62 Revolution bars across the country including venues in Aberdeen, York and Leeds and the Norwich site will be the fifth to open in 2010.

According to the company, every new bar creates around 45 job opportunities, employing managers, bar and kitchen staff.

This year alone, Revolution has created 220 new jobs in the hospitality industry, its parent company said in a statement.

It went on to say that the bar chain has an "emphasis on quality training and recruiting and maintaining innovative and dynamic teams".

Inventive Leisure appeared in this year's Sunday Times 100 Best Companies list, coming 34th - up 15 places on last year.
