A massive new restaurant in Norwich's Riverside centre will create a number of chef jobs and become the biggest in the whole region, seating 600 diners at a time.

The Za Za Bazaar is expected to create 120 hospitality jobs overall after finishing its £2.5 million redevelopment of the former Squares bar into a buffet-style dining experience offering a selection of global cuisines.

It opened another outlet in Bristol recently which can deal with over 1,000 covers in a 30,000 sq ft building and is considered the UK's largest restaurant.

Recruitment for jobs is expected to begin early next year and the doors are predicted to open for the first time in spring.

Simon Howlett, Za Za Bazaar marketing manager, explained the company hopes to build on the success of its Bristol launch with the new eatery in the east of England.

"We are now bringing Za Za Bazaar to Norwich. Local people will be able to enjoy the energy, originality and sheer fun of the Za Za experience for themselves," he said.
