JD Wetherspoon has announced it is to open two new pubs as part of a £4.7 million redevelopment.
The venues will be historic properties and will be developed to house hotels as well as pubs.
A 15th century building in Bewdley, Worcestershire, The George Hotel, will be run by the high-street pub operator.
It was originally managed by a private operator but Wetherspoon carried out a £2.2 million redevelopment before reopening it as the 20-bedroom hotel with bar and restaurant with conservatory.
The other new venue will be the Royal Hop Pole Hotel in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, which will reopen as a 29-bedroom hotel and pub.
After its £2.5 million redevelopment, the 14th century building will be managed by Stuart and Linda Coxshall who have managed Wetherspoon pubs for the past three years.
Both properties will be looking for hospitality staff to serve specialist cask-conditioned beers including those from regional and microbrewers.
