Hotel Cateys awards for hospitality workers near dead-line

Designed to reward hard work and exceptional service in the hotel industry, the Hotel Cateys awards are open to applications from hoteliers across the country, with the deadline for entries June 6th 2008.

Caterer and Hotelkeeper has been running the Cateys awards for 25 years to acknowledge those who excel in the hospitality industry, but this is the second year of the Hotel Cateys ceremony.

"These awards allow us to recognise, reward and celebrate the unsung heroes who work tirelessly to support the UK's hotel sector by delivering an exceptional guest experience day in, day out," remarked a representative for Cateys.

Around 700 hoteliers attended the first awards gala last year, with 300 entries submitted.

Categories for recognition include front of house team of the year, hotel restaurant manager of the year and conference and banqueting team of the year.

The ceremony for the Hotel Cateys 2008 will take place at the Hilton on London's Park Lane.
