Grade II listed Georgian town hotel Dinham Hall in Ludlow, Shropshire, has been purchased by hotel and restaurant owner Frank Choblet, whose plans for its development is expected to create a range of hotel jobs, according to Caterer and Hotelkeeper.
He plans to bring "brasserie-style" cuisine into the restaurant in his new acquisition, the publication claims, which may open up opportunities for kitchen work.
Mr Choblet is responsible for a number of other hospitality businesses in Shropshire including the Roebuck eatery in Ludlow and the 120-seat Salway Arms between Hereford and Shrewsbury, which is the first of a line of pub restaurants he is with Punch Taverns.
He is also the owner of Overton Grange, a 14-bedroom hotel in which he is currently building a spa and treatment rooms.
Mr Choblet has plans for all his businesses, in that he wants guests of Dinham Hall to take advantage of the new spa facilities at Overton Grange and opportunities may be created as a result of the Punch Taverns venture.
