The Leicester Tigers could be set to get a brand new hotel at the site of their football ground.
Welford Road stadium is currently undergoing an expansion programme to increase its seating capacity from 17,500 to 24,000.
However, the £100 million hotel project would also feature facilities for the local hospital and university, which may interest those looking for local jobs.
Leicester Tigers chairman Peter Tom said: "We have worked closely with the UHL (University Hospital of Leicester) and the university to ensure their respective needs are satisfied, and we are in detailed discussions with several quality hotel operators who see this as an ideal opportunity to move into Leicester."
He added that the "prestigious development" brings together three of Leicester's most prominent organisations.
In related news, the Chester Chronicle recently reported that proposals have been put forward to add 30 new bedrooms to the city's popular Hoole Hall hotel.
