A new £25 million hotel is set to be constructed in Glasgow, bringing new hospitality jobs to the Scottish market.
Planning permission has been granted by the city council for the project on the site of the former BBC Scotland headquarters in the west of the city.
The Hamilton, as it will be named, is to be a five-star hospitality complex consisting of three listed buildings and a newly-built construction.
QMD Hotels will now embark on development of the 120-room facility, which will create 150 hotel jobs.
A spokesman for the firm told the BBC: "We are pleased to have secured the revised consent and 120 keys will ensure the economic viability of the project."
Permission had previously been granted for the development of an 85-bedroom hotel and 159 houses on the brownfield site, but the new plans will ensure additional hotel work is created in Glasgow.
