Lots of interest for Isle of Wight hotel and catering jobs

Hundreds of people turned out at a recruitment fair over the weekend for hotel and catering manager jobs.

More than 200 people attended the event, which was part of the expansion of Norton Grange Coastal Village in Yarmouth and ran from 10:00 to 19:00 GMT, reported the BBC.

Up to 100 jobs are expected to be created when the resort reopens after a three-month refurbishment, with positions including catering manager jobs, house-keeping roles and hotel jobs.

A spokesman for the Warner Hotels resort told the source that it was delighted at the level of interest in the positions.

The resort is due to reopen on March 26th, following the £300,000 facelift.

Warner Hotels' resort is located on the west side of the Isle of Wight, minutes from the port of Yarmouth. It is said to be ideal for couples or groups, while being near to Carisbrooke Castle and the Needles Pleasure Park.
