People looking for hotel jobs in Wales have been given a boost by the news that a landmark establishment in Wrexham is to receive investment and its owner has also pledged to safeguard jobs and seek new employees.
The owner of the Wynnstay Arms Hotel, Stephanie Booth, promised to "guarantee" staff their roles would be safe, according to the BBC.
"Apart from the capital investment, I'll be looking forward to finding out from the people of Wrexham what they want to see from this historic hotel. We plan to be there from day one to consult with both staff and customers alike," she stated.
Ms Booth owns a chain of hotels in Wales and she has promised to try and restore the historic Grade II listed hotel to its "past glories".
The Western Telegraph reported on proposals to renovate the Royal Gatehouse Hotel in Tenby after original plans were not accepted by councillors, which could create more hotel jobs.
