The Duke's Head has been bought out of administration, which could create a number of hotel jobs in Wales.
The Lynn establishment is a 16th century coaching inn but hit troubles six months ago, the Lynn News has reported.
Flying Trade Group has acquired the property and it will be run by Surya Hotels, with plans to restore the building to its former glory.
Peter Brunt, director of Colliers International, which served as agent on the sale, said that there was substantial interest in the property.
He said: "Flying Trade Group plan to restore the hotel to its former glory with a substantial refurbishment programme. They plan to make The Duke's Head the most prominent hotel in the locality."
In other news, the Portadown Times has reported that the Hobbs Cafe is to be opened in the town, creating new catering jobs in Northern Ireland.
Owners Gary Kidd and Simon O'Hara have suggested that the establishment will help plug gaps in the market.
