A hotel which was purchased from liquidators has undergone a transformation after its new owners invested in the three-star establishment, saving around 25 hospitality jobs.

EDP24.com reported on the former Quality Hotel at Bowthorpe, which has now been rebranded The Brook Hotel Norwich.

Now the 82-bedroom hotel has been given a new exterior branding, as well as a refurbished restaurant and gardens.

Hotel manager Nicoletta Fica told the news provider that the GS Hotels establishment has been reborn.

"The hotel is looking amazing with a wonderful tiled foyer and rich, red velvet lounge area and some exciting artwork. It is so nice that our reception now reflects the standard that guests will enjoy during their visit," she said.

Travelodge has started to introduce dedicated sleep wardens who ensure that guests can get a good night's sleep and do not disturb others with their noise, according to ThisIsLincolnshire.co.uk.
