Hotels in the north east of England are offering business staff the opportunity to host their conferences outside this summer, which could interest those looking at hospitality jobs in the region.
The Space To Think campaign, which has been launched by a number of hotels and establishments in the region, advertises the venues which are participating in the scheme.
It follows recent research which showed that the conference industry has created 8,500 positions in the north of England, including hospitality jobs.
Caroline Smith, marketing coordinator for Alnwick Castle and the Alnwick Garden, has highlighted the positive benefits that this can confer on customers.
She said: "The novelty of meeting in a different location outside proved really inspirational. It's such a good thing to take time away from the office and find some space to think."
The hospitality recruitment sector as a whole is experiencing a boom at the moment, with the Recruitment and Employment Confederation reporting that the World Cup is resulting in pubs, bars and restaurants being full to the brim.
