A major refurbishment project could be set to breathe new life into a north coast hotel and give customers new spa facilities and an updated foyer to enjoy, according to one newspaper.
The Ballymoney Times reported on the plans from general manager of the Causeway Hotel, Darrel Stevenson, who said that he is hopeful the National Trust will give the group permission to go ahead with the £1 million refurbishment.
"No one can rest on their laurels. The new visitors' centre will set a benchmark that we all have to follow – that's why we recognise the need for a complete overhaul," he told the newspaper.
The Liverpool Daily Post reported that the former capital of culture is to be the next location for a collaboration between Sleeperz Hotels and Network Rail, which focuses on utilising small sites situated in challenging locations.
