Premier Inn is seeking people to fill hotel jobs in Northern Ireland, as the budget chain is opening a new hotel in Belfast.

The new establishment will be located in the city's Titanic Quarter, adjacent to the Odyssey complex, the News Letter reports.

When it opens in November, the hotel will have 122 bedrooms, a 96-seat restaurant and will employ around 50 people in hospitality jobs.

"Premier Inn has invested heavily in Northern Ireland with five hotels open across Northern Ireland including the recently opened Lisburn Premier Inn," said the hotel chain's area manager Keith Freeman.

Employment and learning minister Sir Reg Empey and Mr Freeman announced a recruitment campaign earlier this week.

Part of this will be carried out through the department's Bridge to Employment programme, the newspaper reports.

Last month, it was reported that Wagamama restaurant group is opening one of its famous noodle bars at Belfast's Victoria Square, creating up to 50 restaurant jobs.
