New hotel to be built in Strabane?

A new hotel could soon be built in Strabane, Northern Ireland, which would create many hospitality jobs in the area.
The town is known as one of the country's unemployment 'black spots', according to the BBC, so the new development would be particularly welcome in the area.
Invest Northern Ireland has been granted planning permission to develop the hotel, which would be part of a new business park.
Sinn Fein's Pat Doherty told the news provider that Strabane was losing out on investment because of its lack of such a complex.
"We already know of three businesses that could not expand within Strabane because there was simply no room," he said.
Mr Doherty went on to say that Invest Northern Ireland needs to go ahead and purchase the land and start construction as soon as possible.
Last month, Premier Inn announced that it was seeking people to fill hotel jobs in Northern Ireland, as the budget chain is opening a new hotel in Belfast.
