Travelodge hiring for jobs at Doncaster hotel

One of the UK's best-known hospitality chains is recruiting staff for a new site in Doncaster, boosting hotel recruitment in South Yorkshire.

Travelodge is seeking local talent to fill vacancies at its 67-bedroom hotel, set to open on Lakeside Boulevard this December, reports the Epworth Bells.

At least 14 hotel jobs are available at Lakeside, with positions including receptionist, cleaning and housekeeping roles.

Laura Dover, district manager for Yorkshire, said she was "very excited" about opening a second Travelodge site in Doncaster.

"I am looking forward to bringing the best team together, to help make this hotel a great success. The company's ethos is to ensure staff find their work enjoyable and fulfilling," she added.

Successful applicants for the hotel jobs will take part in a four-week training scheme, prior to the venue's launch over the busy Christmas period.

This summer, Travelodge launched the UK's first budget hotel management apprenticeship programme for school leavers.
