National hospitality award for pioneering charity

The hospitality team at a heritage Devon hotel and conference centre near Totnes has picked up a national award for excellence at the Johansens Conde Nast Awards in London.

Dartington Hall is part of The Dartington Hall Trust, a pioneering charity working in the fields of the arts, social justice and sustainability. The hospitality and leisure company is run as a social enterprise to support the trust’s charitable work.

The Johansens Conde Nast award in the category of sustainable hospitality and corporate social responsibility acknowledges Dartington’s work in these areas.

General Manager Deborah Heather picked up the award at a ceremony at the
Mayfair Hotel in London on behalf of The Dartington Hall Trust.

Ms Heather said: "I'm delighted we’ve won this national award for excellence. It’s a real recognition of our work in the arts, social justice and sustainability and an apt reward for the team’s hard work and achievements to date."
