50 chef jobs to be created in Croydon

As many as 50 chef jobs are to be created in Croydon as the country's largest restaurant is set to open in the London borough later this year.

The Cosmo Croydon restaurant will have the capacity to seat 800 people and will have ten live cooking stations.

Over 300 Asian and European dishes will be served at the eatery, which is set to open on November 13th at Valley Leisure Park.

The recipes used by the restaurant's chefs span nine countries, including China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam and India.

"Come and see what all the fuss is about - and remember you can enjoy as much food as you like for just one price," a statement from the all-you-can-eat restaurant chain said.

It was recently reported that top British chef Jason Atherton is to open a new eatery, called the Pollen Street Social, later this year, which could create a number of restaurant jobs in London.
