More chef jobs in London are set to be created by Tsuru Sushi at a new ramen concept restaurant.

According to Big Hospitality, owners of the Japanese eatery chain Emma Reynolds and Kensuke Yamada believe there is a lack of authentic ramen restaurants in the capital and are eager to take advantage of this gap in the market.

Tsuru will host a ramen night at its Bishopsgate branch on November 26th to showcase some of the dishes that could be on offer at the new outlet, although the new menu is yet to be fully developed.

Named Tsuru Ramen, the new establishment is scheduled to open in spring 2012. Among the positions that are still available is a head chef job.

"The look and atmosphere will be totally different from any of our other sites," said Ms Reynolds.

Many of the recipes on offer at Tsuru's three existing London branches were inherited from Mr Yamada's mother and grandmother.
