Restaurant jobs are on the card after Alnwick saw the opening of another eatery from Roberto and Lorraine Peruzzo, who already operate Caffe Tirreno and Prima Deli in the Northumberland town.
New establishment Di Sopra is offering some 15 jobs in a variety of capacities, according to the Northumberland Gazette.
Mr Peruzzo expressed his hope the new venture will provide a fillip to the local economy and provide something new for visitors.
"Di Sopra will offer an upmarket modern space for larger parties, without losing the Italian charm that has made Caffe Tirreno so popular," he said.
He added that it had been a pleasure to work with local builders and tradespeople in developing the site, and that he planned to use local produce in many of the dishes.
Alnwick has seen a boost in tourism over recent years after the town's castle was used as a backdrop in the shooting of the Harry Potter films.
