New restaurant jobs have been created in Crewe with the opening of a pizza and pasta eatery in the Cheshire town.
Marc Haigh, manager of the garden centre, and restaurant manager Nickie McLeary recently declared the new restaurant open by jointly cutting a ceremonial ribbon, the Crewe Chronicle reports.
"The Pizza Pasta Restaurant can seat 160 people and has an indoor and outdoor play area. It offers a varied Italian menu for children and adults," said Mr Haigh.
He went on to explain that the restaurant serves an array of homemade Italian dishes, including Americano, margarita and quarto fromaggi pizzas.
The menu also includes a range of cakes and desserts and, for those aged 18 or over, Italian beer and wine is available.
Another new Italian eatery was opened last month in Somerset, creating ten restaurant jobs in the area, the Somerset Guardian reported.
The new restaurant is located in the historic Cricket St Thomas estate and grounds.
