A new regeneration project in Northamptonshire is set to create new hospitality jobs, it has been revealed.
Bee Bee Developments is hoping to build a massive new housing and commercial development on the outskirts of Wellingborough in order to provide more affordable housing and local jobs.
However, the people living and working in the new district will need access to hospitality services and the firm has now revealed that bars and restaurants are set to be built on the site to serve them.
Heneage Stevenson, a spokesman for Northants LLP, a subsidiary of Bee Bee, told the Northants Evening Telegraph that the new hospitality and leisure facilities would be "at the heart of the development".
"The scheme aims to bring maximum benefit and minimum disturbance to existing residents through a sensitive design approach and by bringing high quality local services and job opportunities," he added.
People interested in hospitality jobs in the region received a further boost this week as separate plans for a new project in Rushden were unveiled, with the Evening Telegraph reporting that there are plans for a 175-room hotel on the site.
