An historic hotel in Morecambe is looking to recruit talented people interested in hotel jobs as it prepares to reopen later this year, according to reports.
The 44-room Midland Hotel is scheduled to open it doors in June, with visitors to the stunning Art Deco property following in the footsteps of famous former guests including fashion designer Coco Chanel and actor Laurence Olivier.
House manager Matt Redhead told The Visitor newspaper that he is keen to find staff members to help with the re-launch, commenting: "It's my job to make sure our team is filled with the right personalities to be able to complement such an outstanding building.
"My team will be personally selected and trained to ensure that each and every one of our guests has the best possible experience at the Midland Hotel."
Among the facilities on offer at the hotel, which overlooks Morecambe Bay, will be a cafe, restaurant and bar.
Earlier this month, The Visitor revealed that the developer of the Midland Hotel is making plans to revamp Morecambe's hospitality offerings, which could see new restaurants and a hotel built in the town.
