Neil Morrissey is to launch his own traditional British pub in Yorkshire, according to the Daily Record.
The Men Behaving Badly actor said he wants to "bring the pleasure back to drinking good, individual beers" and will offer patrons the chance to sample his picks in wine-glass size servings.
The development and launch of the pub will be filmed for Channel 4, which intends to air it as part of a series entitled Neil Morrissey's Perfect Pint.
Mr Morrissey also plans to brew his own beers and intends to name one of his new concoctions after Full Monty star Hugo Speer.
"If he doesn't become a regular when he's got a beer called after him, then we'll hunt him down and nasty things will happen," he said.
The pub will not be Mr Morrissey's first hospitality venture, with the actor already owning the Hurst House on the Marsh hotel in Wales and the Hurst House in Covent Garden private members club.
He is set to create more hospitality jobs at his new hotel, the Hurst House at the Mill in Hertfordshire, when it opens next year.
