100 bar workers set for popular Edinburgh festival venue

Over 100 staff are set to be employed from July 25th to September 1st this year at the George Square Gardens bar, cafe and nightclub, it has been reported.

Located adjacent to the Famous Spiegeltent entertainment venue, both bar and catering recruitment will take place for the site, offering opportunities for people to work in a fast-paced and social environment, according to the Edinburgh Evening News.

Karen Calvert, area business manager at hospitality operator Montpeliers, said: "This is an exciting opportunity for people who have experience in bar and waiting work who want to work where all the action will be at this year's Festival."

The positions will cover not only the Fringe but the Edinburgh Jazz Festival and the International Fireworks party.
