A number of new pub jobs could be created in Birmingham as Penn Street Taverns looks to sell four of its 15 establishments.

Agent Christie and Co is handling the sales of the freehold pubs, which include the Midland, the Hampton and the Beau Brummie - all located in Birmingham.

The Bush in Wednesbury is the fourth pub that is to be sold by Penn Street Taverns and they range in value from £95,000 to £155,000.

Noel Moffitt, director at Christie and Co, said: "These four substantially-sized pubs will prove equally popular with developers and established local operators."

"The location of the Beau Brummie should ensure it attracts high levels of interest in particular," he added.

Meanwhile in Birmingham, the new Cube development is set to include a restaurant and hotel, the BBC reported last month.

The building has been designed by architect Ken Shuttleworth, who was behind the famous London Gherkin.
