New pub manager jobs have been created at a venue in Reading, which is also converting one of its rooms into a shrine to The Beatles.
The Fox and Hounds in Caversham has been taken over by Kevin and Kerri Durkan, who are huge fans of the Fab Four and will show their love for the band by turning the current games room into a Beatles tribute area, GetReading.co.uk reported.
Mr Durkan said he hopes that the Beatles room will offer something different to other venues in the area and help the couple to settle into their new pub manager jobs by giving regulars and visitors alike a new experience.
"Although there are some great pubs in Caversham we want to offer something for everybody. We want the pub to remain traditional, with great real ales and great food where people can come and have a great time," he told the website.
Recently, JD Wetherspoon spent £30,000 converting the former Berkshire Tavern in Newbury into a pub with accommodation facilities, creating both pub and hotel jobs in the process.
