Londoners seeking restaurant work could be well positioned to scoop a role at two new venues being opened by Alan Yau this year.
The respected restaurateur plans to unveil two outposts of his latest project in the capital this year, one in Soho's Ganton Street and the other at Whiteleys shopping centre in Bayswater.
Both will be called Cha Cha Moon and offer food typical of the Szechuan region of China.
A spokesperson for Mr Yau told Restaurant Magazine that the venues will serve "fast casual Chinese" food.
Originally from Hong Kong, Mr Yau has become a culinary trend setter with his popular dim-sum restaurant Yauatcha.
Last month, he opened his stylish Japanese restaurant Sake No Hana, after a ten-month delay.
He also played a crucial role in the development of noodle chain Wagamama in its early years.
The Ganton Street outpost was originally intended to be a steakhouse but the spokesperson told the Restaurant Magazine that Mr Yau had instead opted to establish a concept that heralds the "return to the Wagamama market".
