Chester Grosvenor Hotel and Spa's famous Arkle restaurant is to be renamed after its award-winning chef, claims a source.
According to the Chester Chronicle, Simon Radley, of the new 'Simon Radley at the Chester Grosvenor', was largely responsible for the winning of the restaurant's first Michelin star 18 years ago, an accolade which the chef describes as "a benchmark."
For anyone interested in working as a chef, inspiration can be gained from insight into how Mr Radley likes to operate: "I am highly motivated and have a keen eye for quality in both food and staff selection.
"A healthy fear of failure doesn't go amiss and last but certainly not least a good sense of humour."
Plans also include a revamp of the restaurant's interiors as well as the connecting bar and lounge.
Reflecting the overall customer experience to be had at the restaurant, Toptable, the restaurant booking service, says on its site: "The Arkle's service is distinguished by its warmth and professionalism. Top marks."
