Restaurant owner to record producer

People employed in restaurant work may have the chance to participate in a new idea from record company Bluesmooth, a source has suggested.
The proposal aims to give wining and dining institutions the opportunity to put together their own chill-out digital music compilations to be played in-house, according to Big Hospitality.
Customers then have the freedom to purchase online what they've heard, transforming their listening enjoyment into an earner for the restaurant they've visited.
Graeme Rose, label manager, told the news provider: "We deal with the licensing and put it online. The restaurant gets royalties on each album sale, so it even creates an extra revenue stream for them."
The company's official website claims to focus on "only the coolest, funkiest lounge music", signifying a fun challenge for restaurant managers and their staff to get involved in while creating something different for the working environment.
One establishment which has embraced the concept according to Bluesmooth is The Sugar Hut in Brentwood, Essex, a restaurant, bar and nightclub which has released an album entitled Thai Chilli.
