The latest batch of apprentice chefs have graduated from Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant in Cornwall.

Jamie travelled to the eatery in Devon to congratulate his budding gourmets in person and told This is Cornwall that past Fifteen graduates work in some "fabulous restaurants".

"To me creating the Fifteen project was always a question of proving that young people who've had a bit of a bad time can be amazing, wonderful, employable, future employees and employers," he added.

Since its opening three years ago, Fifteen has graduated 31 chefs.

According to the news provider, this year's graduates have undertaken restaurant work in a number of Cornish establishments, including The Nare Hotel, Tresco Estate in the Isles of Scilly, Barclay House and Viners.

There are also Fifteen restaurants located in London, Amsterdam and Melbourne.

The original eatery in London opened in 2002, offering apprenticeships to 18 to 24-year-olds.
