A college in Norfolk is offering new training courses that could help individuals to secure hospitality jobs.
City College Norwich has launched a series of short, four-week courses that will focus on developing skills in the hospitality and retail sectors, reports the Eastern Daily Press.
They will be available to people who have been unemployed for more than six months in a bid to enhance their job prospects in these areas.
Dick Palmer, principal at City College Norwich, told the news provider: "This new partnership brings employment and skills services closer together to provide an integrated package of support for those finding themselves unemployed."
Bosses at the college added that they hope the courses will help at least 350 people by 2010.
Hospitality training schemes were also recently announced by the Prince's Trust and it confirmed it would be working with the Olympics Development Agency in an attempt to secure Olympic jobs for young people in 2012.
