A new 270-seat pub restaurant at Castleford, Yorkshire is set to open this summer, creating 60 hospitality jobs in the region, reports the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The £2.3 million Birchwood Farm eatery, which will be run by Cloverleaf Restaurants, opens its doors to the public in June, offering diners an extensive, good-value menu, complimentary Wi-Fi and a children's play area.

Speaking to the newspaper, Cloverleaf director Gary Douglas said: "We believe that it is possible to give families a great experience whilst also looking after adult and business guests."

Recruitment for restaurant staff and chef positions will commence next month.

Cloverleaf Restaurants currently has nine eateries open throughout the UK, with outlets based at Sheffield, Bury, Rotherham, Doncaster, Merseyside, Runcorn and Lancashire among other locations.

According to its official website, the brand plans to open further eateries in May, September and November this year, creating a number of hospitality jobs in the UK.
