Jamie Oliver creates restaurant jobs in Liverpool

One of the UK's most well-loved TV chefs is set to open a new establishment in Liverpool which could create restaurant jobs in the north-west.

Jamie Oliver will open the 11th Jamie's Italian in the Liverpool One shopping area in June and the eatery will serve rustic Italian food inspired by his mentor Gennaro Contaldo.

"When people eat at a Jamie's Italian, I want them to really get into the food, maybe try something they wouldn't normally try, but always be safe in the knowledge that they're eating good stuff, prepared with love," he stated.

Oliver added that the new restaurant's menu will be influenced by food that normal Italians eat every day, with main courses costing between £10.95 and £15.95.

The Liverpool Echo recently reported that the Reform Bar & Restaurant will open at the end of March and could create more restaurant roles in the city.
