A new Asian restaurant has opened its doors and could create new hospitality jobs in Bradford.

The Bradford Telegraph and Argus has revealed that Ash Khan has transformed the Greengates takeaway into the Paprika restaurant in partnership with air conditioning engineer Matthew Pickles.

A total of £120,000 has been invested in the conversion, which has created a 60-seat restaurant offering Bangladeshi food and it is expected that the venture will perform well.

Mr Pickles told the news provider: "We've already received huge interest from both existing and new customers and are hopeful that the restaurant will be successful."

As a result of the launch, a total of 12 new restaurant jobs have been created in the city, which could be good news for jobseekers in West Yorkshire.

In other news, Scores on the Doors has launched a new iPhone App providing diners in Leeds with information on the hygiene ratings of eateries in the local area.
