UK launch of Denny's 'will create thousands of restaurant jobs'

Thousands of new restaurant jobs could be created by the UK expansion of a popular US brand.

Denny's, a family restaurant chain, is to make the transition to the UK and will be launching a number of franchised sites around the country.

The company has stated that it will be launching approximately 30 restaurants in Manchester and a similar number in the West Midlands, which should create new restaurant jobs in these regions.

Steve Dunn, speaking on behalf of the company, has highlighted the country's favourable attitude to businesses as one of the key reasons behind its decision.

He said: "Following the recent Emergency Budget and the lowering of corporation tax, we see a bright future in the UK."

In other news, the Sun has reported that leading Brit pop group JLS are planning to launch a new restaurant and club based in the West End of London named Jewels of the Lotus Sutra.
