A new eatery that has opened in Somerset has created ten restaurant jobs in the area.
The Warner Leisure Hotels group, which bought the historic Cricket St Thomas estate and grounds back in 1999, is investing £3 million in renovating the complex.
A new Italian restaurant called Fenocchi's has been opened at the hotel and its existing Tree Tops eatery has been refurbished.
"The opening of the new restaurant and the investment into the hotel are hugely exciting and clearly demonstrate our continuing confidence in offering superb facilities for our guests and visitors to enjoy," Ian Gyte, Cricket St Thomas Hotel's general manager, told the Journal newspaper.
Some 180 people are already employed in various hotel jobs at the Grade II-listed mansion estate, but another ten have been recruited for the new restaurant.
Earlier this week, Devon24.co.uk reported that an historic hotel in Ilfracombe is due to reopen soon, creating many cafe, hotel and restaurant jobs in the north Devon town.
